If you are interested in joining The Waterfall Lodge then please get in touch and we can let you know more about how to become a Freemason.

Becoming a Freemason probably means different things to everyone, but nevertheless we all share a common bond of Brotherhood. Freemasonry is however, very much a family affair, so apart from our regular Lodge meetings, we enjoy getting together for social events, making friends and generally try our very best to have some fun in life.

The most important side to becoming a Freemason is to try our best as individuals to become good and better men. Members are taught its precepts (moral lessons and self-knowledge) by a series of ritual dramas played out through a progression of allegorical two-part plays. So as we make our progress as individuals through the Offices of the Lodge, we endeavour to learn them by heart and perform them at our meetings. They follow the ideals and ancient forms derived from stories steeped in history, during which we utilize a stonemason’s customs and tools as allegorical guides. Thereby we hope to learn some important lessons gained from the past, that we can apply to the here and now and make a real difference to the way we behave and engage with others in our own everyday life.
